Desi is an RYT and is also certified as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher.
Desi has been an instrumental part of the Healthy Life family. She has a strong sense of community and enjoys providing our students with personalized attention, so that they can achieve their goals.
Her initial yoga certification was received right here at Healthy Life Yoga.

Jason is an RYT and certified Yoga Nidra Instuctor. He received his RYT through the Yoga Goddess Academy. Jason is passionate about fitness, meditation, and living an overall healthy lifestyle. Jason spent several years as an instructor for Wah Lum Kung-fu school, in Richmond Virginia. Jason has a strong passion for yoga and the benifits that come from a full dedicated practice.
Cari has been an influential part of the Healthy Life family, helping our students reach their goals. She offers a deep understanding of the poses, wrapped in a practice that builds, confidence, strength, flexibility, and self love.
Denise was introduced to yoga in her pre-teen years, and shares her love of the practice through teaching. She firmly believes yoga is for everybody, and that means every body. She views each breath as a sacred gift not to be taken for granted and moving our bodies is a celebration of life.
Denise was teacher trained, right here, at Healthy Life Yoga, and is certified as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher.
She infuses her classes with calmness and smiles.
Denise also holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Technology, and is a certified professional coder.
Through yoga she provides whole body balance (physically, emotionally, and mentally) as well as cultivates positive body image/self-esteem. She finds beauty in yoga since no pose is perfect, yet the poses are practiced to meet an individual’s need at that exact moment in time.
Jordan is a cherished part of the Healthy Life family.
Jordan is a Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist, and as of March 2022, a Reiki l and ll practitioner.
With a wild respect for musculoskeletal pathology and being a practicing Yogi and healer, Jordan combines anatomical and spiritual knowledge to her teachings bringing a deeper understanding to the physical and subtle energetic bodies. Specializing in prenatal yoga and massage, energetic bodywork and pranayama/meditation, Jordan strives to serve her community by bringing awareness to the mind, body and spirit.
Julie brings in fun to all of her classes.
She is always trying new things that are exciting, challenging, and accessible for every level yogi.
Julie's classes offer up a variety of knowledge and skill that everyone can enjoy, and benefit from.

Kelly has been an avid fitness enthusiast all her life, and began practicing traditional yoga in 2013. She took up acro yoga (partnered acrobatic yoga) in 2016 to help her overcome a rare vestibular disorder, Mal de Debarquement Syndrome. You know that feeling when you step off a boat or a rollercoaster and you feel like you’re still moving? That’s how Kelly feels all the time. Kelly lauds the benefits of yoga not just for strength and flexibility, but as a powerful tool to assist in the management of chronic illness, chronic pain, and mental health.

Looking for a great Yoga Instructor who really knows what both your mind and body need? Melissa has been an influential part of the Healthy Life family, providing our students with the personalized attention they need to fulfill their wellness goals. Her initial yoga certification was received right here at HLY.
Raised in south of Italy, Sara has completed her 200hr YTT in 2018 with Humble Haven Yoga in Richmond, specializing in Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. She is also certified in prenatal yoga, kids yoga, SUP yoga, Yoga Trapeze, and Pilates Mat.
With a true passion for teaching yoga in many different formats, Sara loves to combine in her classes creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration to help students deepen their practice and grow their interest for this transformative discipline.
Twylah has been a loving part of our family here at HLY, offering a fun, loving, and often musical practice.
